Sabrina Carpenter is an American singer and actress that has become very popular in the UK since the release of her very catchy pop hit Espresso in 2024 voted "Song of the year".

SABRINA CARPENTER BACKGROUND:

Sabrina Carpenter first gained recognition starring on the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World (2014–2017), and released her debut single, "Can't Blame a Girl for Trying", in 2014. She released four studio albums then: three of their singles—"Alien", "Almost Love", and "Sue Me"—topped the U.S. Dance Club Songs chart.

Sabrina Carpenter moved to Island Records in 2021 and released the standalone single "Skin", which became her first entry on the US Billboard Hot 100. Her fifth album, Emails I Can't Send (2022), was supported by the US pop airplay top-10 singles "Nonsense" and "Feather", marking Carpenter's first set of radio hits. She opened for Taylor Swift at the Eras Tour in 2023 and had her commercial breakthrough with her sixth album Short n' Sweet (2024), which became her first to debut atop the US Billboard 200 and spawned the Billboard Global 200-number one singles "Espresso" and "Please Please Please".

Sabrina Carpenter has also appeared in films and in Broadway musicals
