Acoustic Trio - Lionheart
Multi Vocal Guitar & Keyboard Acoustic Trio based South UK
Described by audience members as "extremely talented" and having an "unexpected and original repertoire" this acoustic guitar, keyboard and multi vocal duo is sure to delight with their incredible 3 part harmonies and arrangements of popular songs from the last 5 decades.
Mixing up multiple genres, the trio perform everything from the 70s to the present day, from Fleetwood Mac and Abba to current hits from the likes of Florence & James Bay. From 80s pop to country crossover, RnB to soft rock using interesting interpretations to suit their acoustic style.
Lionheart was established in 2015 formed from a previous duo featuring Jonothan and Louise and now joined by Lallie. Having met through the Hampshire Young Walkers group in 2010, Jon suggested a musical pairing in 2011 which quickly took off and combined his undoubted skills on guitar and vocals with Louise's strong singing, percussion & now keyboards. Lallie completes the trio with her hauntingly beautiful vocals and occassional autoharp also. All extremely talented singers and musicians, their harmonies combine well on all the songs in particular the vocally challenging Royals by Lorde and Kate Bush's "Oh England my Lionheart" the inspiration behind the name.
Lionheart are happy to take bookings in
Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset and Berkshire. They come with their own PA and lighting if required and can also play music through their sound system in between their sets to save you hiring a separate DJ.
Louise started her musical career at the age of 5 when she started to learn to play the keyboard. After a period of playing keyboards for various Nottingham based bands after Uni, she also started backing and then lead singing in her mid twenties.
Having been in bands covering just about every era from Jazz, 60's soul, through 70's Disco and 80's pop to the present day, Louise was keen to take on a new challenge and be more freely able to perform some less commercial numbers than in her other tribute acts. Louise is a confident and charismatic entertainer with an engaging and soulful voice.
Louise's claims to fame include singing on BBC TV for Children in Need and Star for a Night, supporting the Troggs & the Bay City Rollers and appearing on the front cover of the Sunday Times Magazine with Abba's Angels her Abba Tribute
A multi talented instrumentalist and musical genius especally when it comes to harmonies, Jon can also be found playing the keyboard and trombone when not strumming his guitar.
Originally a classically trained pianist and brass player, he was corrupted by rock on seeing the Johnny be Good sequence in Back to the Future and played guitar in about every band he could in college.
Other projects include a Disco Revival studio recording project called "Hot Romance" , a synth pop project called "Digital Romance" and influences include Fleetwood Mac, Supertramp and Simon & Garfunkel.
Lallie was brought up on the sounds of Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn & Johnny Cash. She started out singing classically and won a scholarship to study at Eton College aged 15, going onto study at the The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford in "Vocal Performance".
Since then, Lallie has worked with many different professional tribute and function bands. She has worked with ABBA Tributes ( where she met Louise), as a Dolly Parton, Blondie & Madonna tribute and also sings backing vocals for The Pink Tribute Band. One of her other projects, a 1940s girl harmony duo, The Air Raid Sirens is currently enjoying astounding success also. She has performed to audiences of thousands and also in smaller intimate venues.
"The music performed by Lionheart is fantastic! Louise is a vivacious singer with a beautiful, strong rich voice and Lallie's vocals are delivered beautifully and with sensitivity. Jon's guitar playing is technically brilliant and he has a great voice also that mixes well with the others on the harmonies. Together they perform some fabulous songs with their own unique, delightful style and with fresh interpretations." Sarah White
"I really enjoyed your set on Saturday evening. I'm afraid I don't have any photos as I was too busy listening to you guys!" Phil Thomas
